Neurological Disorder Basics

I'm not a doctor or a scientist, I'm a mom. A mom who has a family with a mix of alphabet diagnosis, from ADHD to OCD, who has found safer ways to manage life and control the chaos the symptoms of these diagnosis can cause. 

When we received our first diagnosis, the doctor wrote a list of labels on a prescription pad, handed it to me and said "good luck, I'm retiring next month." That was it, that was all the direction we were given. I spent the next 18yrs researching everything I could to help my kids, and adding in more options as we received further diagnoses.
To date, we have reversed the symptoms of sensory processing disorder, stopped seizures, controlled OCD, and limited tourettes tics. My children are all now adults, working & interacting with the world around them in ways I was told would never be possible. My hope is to help you do the same.
